Welcome to the Southeastern Minnesota Public Safety Radio Website.

This site is devoted to information regarding the implementation of the ARMER system in the eleven county Southeastern Minnesota State Patrol District.  Counties in this region include:

Dodge, Freeborn, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha and Winona.

We also provide information regarding the Southeastern Minnesota Radio Advisory Committee (RAC).

The Southeastern Minnesota RAC's function is to:

• Promote open communication between public safety radio users within the region.
• Develop standards for day-to-day interoperable communications and operations and plan for large scale interop needs.
• Share information regarding success and failures in our communications centers and systems.
• Share information about current and proposed communication technologies.
• Promote the inplementation of the ARMER system in Southeastern Minnesota. 

We will show how the Statewide 700/800 MHz Trunked Radio System will work in, and benefit the Public Safety Agencies, and Communities and Rural Areas of Southeastern Minnesota.

We provide links to other pages that give resources about the APCO Project 25 (P25) Trunking Standard.

We will show how the system is being implemented in the Southeastern Minnesota Region, and how other Public Safety, and Public Entities can get access to and utilize the system.

We will show how a combined infrastructure of the State, County and Local Governments can save money for everyone, allow all agencies to have independent communications for day to day operation, and seamless interoperability during multi-jurisdictional events and disasters.
